EMMA
WINEMAN
actor. singer. ARTIST.
Emma was born and raised in San Diego, CA, and enjoyed her summers from the ages of 8-18 singing and dancing on Balboa Park's Casa del Prado stage. During her time as an active member of the La Jolla Playhouse's student board, Emma became inspired by the importance and power of the arts in the community. This combined with her passion for the stage inspired her to pursue theatre professionally.
Since graduating from Western Michigan University with a BFA in Musical Theatre and Political Science, Emma has relocated to Chicago, IL and signed with DDO Artist's Agency. There, Emma spent a year with Chicago's production of Drunk Shakespeare as Macduff and enjoyed five weeks on the mainstage of The Second City fulfilling two different understudy tracks in the world premiere of Queer Eye: The Musical Parody.
Off-stage, you can find Emma collaborating with her band GLDN.RATIO as a singer/songwriter, teaching Zumba, or more likely, trying to find the new hottest spot with an oyster happy hour.
